Terms of Service

Last updated: August 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TeachBot Studio. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using TeachBot Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy statement. If you use the service on behalf of a school, district, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility

TeachBot Studio is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Educators may share generated outputs with students, but students may not create their own accounts unless permitted by their institution.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

  • New accounts may create a limited number of lessons for free before subscribing.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice.
  • You may cancel at any time from the account menu. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law.

4. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials secure.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Making sure your use complies with your school or employer's policies.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the materials you upload and the lesson outputs you create. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process your content only as needed to provide the service.

We do not use your uploaded materials to train third-party AI models. For more details, see our Privacy statement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use TeachBot Studio to:

  • Generate or share harmful, illegal, abusive, or discriminatory content.
  • Violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent trial limits, subscription checks, or account security.
  • Upload content that contains sensitive personal data about students or minors.

7. AI-generated content

Outputs are generated by AI and should be reviewed by a qualified educator before use. We do not guarantee that every output is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific classroom context. You are responsible for how you use and distribute generated materials.

8. Intellectual property

TeachBot Studio and its associated branding, code, and design are owned by TeachBot Studio. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own educational purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform itself.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or if required by law.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that outputs will meet every requirement. Always review AI-generated content before sharing it with students.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeachBot Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email to the address on your account. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
